Sara's Latest Accomplishment

A few weeks ago Sara came home from Primary not only being able to recite the first article of faith, which I can't get her to do for the camera, but also singing the first few lines of a primary song she learned that day- which she loves to sing for anyone anywhere. I was very impressed because this is a little bit of a hard song to learn but she does a great job with pronouncing the long words and staying in tune- at least according to her mother and all the random people she sings it for. I can't wait until she learns the rest of the song- oh wait I could always teach it to her since I am her parent. I love that she learns so much each Sunday at church! It is so wonderful that she has people that are so willing to take the time and energy to captivate and teach these young sweet angels.
I am so lucky that Sara is so willing to share her sweet love of the gospel with me. Even if on some days she gets a little confused and tells me that Jesus is mean and angry. At least she is really trying to learn who Jesus is- which is more than I can say for myself most days. What would this world be like without such great kids!

A Day at the Ranch

Just before everyone got super busy again we took some time out to go visit with Jason's grandmother down at her ranch. The kids had so much fun! Sara wanted to ride the horse that was quite large over and over again. They also enjoyed getting to see the new donkey and pony. It was super fun now that the kids are finally old enough to enjoy the great Texas Ranch.

And The Winner Is...

This has to be the world's cutest Santa picture of all time!
