So after a much dreaded period of time that involved Jason taking final exams, our family moving out temporarily for a few weeks, birthday celebrations, moving back in and fixing up the place, and finally just getting into summer, we are back to normal. Here are some pictures from the last several weeks that went super fast and I am still amazed we were able to fit sooo much into such a small amount of time.
Girls Weekend:
Super fun weekend trip with my girlfriends. We went and stayed in Grapevine for some great shopping, great food, and amazingly great company. Unfortunately the weekend was surrounded by car problems. I didn't think I would ever leave since I couldn't get our car out of the dry cleaner's parking lot. Then when I came home it left me stranded on an overpass. Not even the traffic cops could get it going, but have no fear Jason was able to drive over and get it going with no problems.
Daily trips to the park:
Amid lots of crazy changes we found much relief in the almost daily trips to the park to play with our friends. Sara has taught me that these activities are as important to me as her. "Mommy you can play with Valerie and I can play with Lucy." Clayton learned that he likes to feed the squirrels.
Jason is enjoying time off from demanding school schedules by being a kid again.
Sara turned four!!!
I can't believe my baby girl is four already. It makes me sad that she is growing up so fast, but we are enjoying every minute of it. We had a great celebration that sleeping beauty and all of our friends were able to attend. It was a little warm but we had a great time with family and friends.
Sara had her first ballet recital! We will have better pictures and videos of this event in the future, but this is what I got that day. Sara did so great! She had to be there for a dress rehearsal at 8am and the performance did not end until 2:30. Clayton also did a great job of sitting through the whole performance, I guess he knows he will have to attend lots of these.
